A lot of fans these days just watch anime series absentmindedly and just watch whatever's popular. OG otaku feel PASSION towards their series of choice. Glad I could talk to you

I hope I didn't hype it up too much. I don't think everyone would feel the same way that I felt towards it, but I still hope you enjoy it all the same. I'm a big fan of "space operas" and love things like KotOR, The Fifth Element, Firefly, etc. I really feel its a well rounded series that sticks to the plot, starts with a mystery, concludes that mystery in a satisfactory matter, has a good and memorable cast, and doesn't drag on. I feel the series made the most of every episode and advances the plot, and even filler episodes are fun. I don't typically like extremely long series with hundreds of episodes, so I feel it's the perfect length.

Such is the mark of a good series that speaks to you. I really love Galaxy Express 999, but the ending can be painful. That's just a part of the beauty of it. I think the pain is an important part of the experience of watching the series and being attached to the characters. Leiji Matsumoto WANTS you to feel in a certain manner and pulls it off in a really skilled way. People still talk highly off it even though it can hurt.

I think concluding series and using them as a "reward" for doing something in real life is a good way to give a great series even more impact. And also motivate you to accomplish your own personal goals. Acid's not for everyone, I've only done it a handful of times. You need to be careful. It's extremely hard to get if your an introvert though. I have no real way of getting more. I lucked out at the time.
I really just like drugs that fuel your imagination. Don't care much for other substances. "Drugs that make you dream" essentially
