"The black flash theme" actually worked really well in practice: There is a combat playlist on shuffle, everyone has one song which is their theme, while your theme is playing, you can get guaranteed critical hits, like when sorceres enter the zone in jjk.

If you think my 10 shadows are bad, you should have seen how unbalanced original Idle Death Gamble, and Avalon's ward were. Those guys were literally invulnerable and unhittable respectively for a few sessions, the enemy npc's had to resort to shit like digging out the entire floor beneath them just to get them away.
