The new immigrants factor in not as labor or costumers, but as luggage. The countries the immigrants emigrate from pay various lobbyists and politicians under the table for the ability to ship human luggage to 1st world countries. This is human trafficking masquerading as humanitarian aid and commerce, but because it is done through political means and by countries outside the bounds of first world democracies and judicial systems there's nothing that the "host" country's population can do to prevent the elite political apparatuses from doing so. It has nothing to do with population control or corporate interests. Its just a select few individuals pocketing cash to dump humans from one economic zone to another.
