>why were you struggling so much to make water?
Because I am retarded had the bright idea to increase the pressure on the input side of the H2 combustor by overloading it with volatiles beyond the stoichiometric ratio. I couldn't increase the oxygen any more since I was mixing it with fresh hot volatiles from the atmosphere and too much would cause it to autocombust. Of course, that just meant proportionally less oxygen was actually combusting into water, decreasing faster than it got sped up by the higher pressure, and it only made the whole thing super slow. Once I fixed that, mixed it at the right ratio, and fixed all the other stupid mistakes slowing it down, we were actually producing a good amount of 20C water, but by that point the base was (literally) toast.
