The Exaltist scheming in the background provided a nice way of still connecting those stories and making it feel like we were still slowly but surely moving toward a big pay off.
Maybe I simply liked that approach better. Now that the Exaltists are firmly established as the big bad, both the Yunkui and Spook Shack stories don't feel like we're coming to love a new faction while also foiling their plans.

I think 2.0 has really dropped the ball when it comes to the factions so far. I can see the vision for Spook Shack, but Yunkui and Obol have completely lost me.
