Ren Sudo is an interesting writer, he doesn't treat Eva like a plot device like the other writers do, he genuinely sees her as another character of the cast.

Hell, the other route that he made, Retsnom, is one of the few routes in the game where Eva lives at the end, he doesn't just mindlessly kill off characters just for shock value because he genuinely cares for them.

I hope he comes back for dlc, he's a piece of gold in the mostly shit pile of writers in this game.
