>Well, what makes you think that your model/aesthetic doesn't fit your content or your audience?
Mostly the stuff you said about how you should tailor your content to fit your model. The bit about soft boy enthusiasts wanting to watch soft boys and muscle car enjoyers being appalled, is exactly what I was getting at when I mentioned the possibility of alienating both crowds, so it makes sense to me.

That said, I don't yet have a model so it isn't an issue at this stage, but it made me think about if I want to prioritize fitting my natural voice to my model, which would likely require tweaking of my content,
OR
Prioritize my content, which would require adjustment of my voice to fit a model that would better suit my content.
Ultimately, I don't have any sort of grand ambition to become the next big thing with thousands of viewers and millions of dollars to wipe my tears with, but I'd like some form of steady viewership—2view would be good, 3 would be even better.
The ideal for me is to not have to compromise on what I really want to do, but I understand that there is some sacrifice to be made if I want an audience.

On a side note, what constitutes as "pulling a Shondo/Veibae"? Admittedly, I'm pretty new to the VTubing scene and wanted to give it a try. I'm not new to streaming, however, but the streams where I've done well were largely in due to the fact that I was covering tournament matches. (See image for my peak CCV, usual viewcounts were more like in the 20-30 range, though.)
