i got ps2 as kid and it had great games, but it was an awful console. it had no longevity, the reading laser always dies after some time.

as an adult i realized emulating the console on pc is better

>don't have to worry about scratching game disks when all your games are saved on a hard disk
>don't have to worry about the laser dying

emulating on pc is ideal

>what about the switch

it's also worse than pc
