I've had the same issue with every steak I've ever tried including multiple fillet mignon from very expensive steakhouses (rich grand parents forced it on me).
They're flavorless chewy trash that I assume is what pet food meat is like.

I want to try one medium well or well done though but no one that's ever made or bought me a steak will let me get it that way.
