Literally nobody has wanted to do any work in the USA for over a century. When was the last time somebody wanted to work?

>first chapter of the Bible
>one of God's punishments to Adam is that men would have to actually work
I'd wager people realized work is bullshit from the very start

Pay a decent living wage then you will have people looking for work, the federal minimum wage is still 7.25 an hour In most states and that is an unsustainable wage so why would I want to work for that

Some might say the Great Depression. Thank God for FDR.

The only way work is enjoyable is if you have comradery. Work sucks if it's humiliating slavery for a boss, you'd rather skip town and go be a highwayman or bandit so at least you could adventure with your bros and hoes.

What are you even bitching about? Some states still peg their minimum wage about as low as the federal one or close to it.

Expecting dedication to paid work is given, but what bothers me is how some boomer business owners seem to be obsessed with their workforce being "thankful" and expects it to act like their employer is some special benevolent benefactor for wanting to employ people to perform work and services.

>we need you to come in and perform a humiliation ritual for this job that pays pennies with no guarantees that youll be given a fair shake.
>unfortunately we cannot do video interviews because our interviewing panel can't work a computer to save their lives
>i know we said the wage was X but we're gonna lower it down a little now that we're at the last stage and if you disagree we'll just go with someone else and waste your time
>anon, sitting is not allowed during downtime!!! that looks bad!! you need to stand and mess your back up for no reason!!
i used to hate bums, but going through this process, i cannot blame them for lashing out on random ritzy people out on the street anymore.
i had the motivation to work for the sole purpose of leaving this place but that's not realistic anymore. the countries i wanted to go to have a huge influx of jeets importing muttmerican lolbertocratic values
ill maybe entertain the idea of working once the boomer generation is finally all dead and rotting in a box.
