only 33 surgeons in the whole world are able to do it
mans tooth was transplanted onto his left eye

surgeons removed mans molar tooth and drilled an optical lense onto it
it was installed into his eye which had non functioning lense and various other tissue which also was non functional, but he did have functional optic nerve
then the nerves of molar tooth connected to the optic nerve all on their own once it had been growing in his eye for a while
his blind eye now became a fully seeing eye
HOWEVER it doesnt look like an actual human eye, but it works so he should be happy
"it was unreal, after so many years I am able to see again properly and start to remember how the world actually looks like" he said
He also said he will return to work from his pension which he had to take due to being disabled from bad eyesight. He is in his early 40s.
>The surgery was paid from tax payers money, not by him, he had to sign papers which make surgeons not be responsible if something goes terribly wrong, but it didnt go wrong so all is fine.
