Hello /cut/, it's me again. I'm trying my best not to email her again but I can't help but worry she's not safe. If she doesn't want me in her life that's fine, but she didn't sound well in that recording she left me. Not at all.
She said she wouldn't kill herself twice but that just makes me think she will, or is threatening to. She also said she had a box cutter and would cut herself if she found out I contacted anyone in her life, or kill herself with pills if she had to. I'm really scared.

I'm her (long-distance) boyfriend. From what I've heard from her roommate I'm basically the only thing that makes her consistently happy and she talks about me a lot.

I see. Last time (before we were dating) she was in one for about a month, so I imagine it might be similar.

To me these would be international calls and she hasn't learned my number yet (and probably can't in this state), which makes things a bit difficult.

Would it be worth asking her straight-up? If it's what she wants I won't call, but I think it might help her to know that some people (not just me) care very deeply about her.

When she was still on the regular ward she sounded alright most of the times I called. The first call, there was a huge amount of regret in her voice but she did seem happy to hear from me. Calling her last time (in the psych ward) she sounded absolutely horrendous.
