nah, originally lolcow stuff was just about seeing a funny guy and having a laugh
now everyone just wants to be involved in everything because normalfags can't consume something entertaining and enjoy it for what it is, it has so say something about THEM they're so egotistical that they need to reframe it in some moral light so they started getting more and more involved and ruined it
i could go on a whole rant about how it's kinda analogous to the culture you see on 4chan now where normalfags can't have fun with something without being the center of attention and that's why the board is more bait and outrage than interesting discussion but i'm too tired for that rn
