Yep, almost everything there comes from outside. At the newsstands they even sell Japanese, Chinese and Korean newspapers to local residents. In some bookstores you'll find shonen and seinen magazines from various publishers, but what you'll see most will be editions from Shonen Jump and CoroCoro Comics. There are artbooks too, but since everything is imported, it ends up being a bit more expensive (at least for us lol). There are also supermarkets that only sell Japanese products and foods.
