I was not allowed to buy any consoles as a kid no matter how much I had saved.
Best I could do is get hand downs from my then adult older brothers as there's a wide gap between their ages and mine.
Even this to this day I this mindset has fucked me over. Because I want to buy something(even if work related) and I just keep thinking and keep thinking about it, never actually buying it.
