Le good is having a good aesthetic melody thats it. Thats music in a nutshell, its what your brain catches on and hums to itself after you listen to a piece because its beautiful, its worth remembering. But Pseudo-Intellectuals will deny this. Music is an art form, therefore beauty (in some way) is the most important subject of the artform.

Another example but this is a Guitar pleb fag example is Joe Satriani vs Steve Vai. Personally I prefer Satriani's music, its more melodic and beautiful. Steve Vai is more technical, its good but its more guitar wanking than melody sometimes.
