You can't describe how great Fry's was to someone who never went. I was there when it was still Incredible Universe. I have such fond memories of going to Fry's, buying games or PC parts and then going to the local LAN center to play WoW or CS 1.6 or DotA.
Hell, I went from where I live to the Irvine Fry's for the WoW midnight release, pic related. Met the devs, got back home around 2:30 am and the guy who worked at the LAN center did a special opening for that night and let everyone smoke (all Asians except the token whites (us), and the place was Korean so everyone smoked) inside so nobody had to stop leveling.
Truly magical. It was inevitable places like big retail stores for things people would mostly buy online and places like Arcades and LAN centers would close, but I can still be nostalgic for them.
