Incorrect, they're from the present day timeline. Krakoa (and Arakko) were swept up in the timestream entanglement and dropped in the 2099 timeline. All the X-Men characters bar possibly Magik (who might be from the collapsing universe Scarlet Witch is from, it's not totally clear), are from the same present day timeline.
