As someone who's dating a muslim woman... nah. It's not the faith alone. She's not a zoomer, born and raised in america. Met her at a restaurant job. She was the quiet type and didn't really have much of friends. My single comment to her about finding her cute was enough to raise such a happy feeling in her. Mind you I was speaking earnestly but without romantic intentions. Come to find out she's a loner with few friends and an abusive mother who mocks her for lack of friends but doesn't let her go anywhere or take her places. What I can gather from being around the arabs in that job... they genuinely are fucking abusive to each other. For all the bad a white guy will do to another white guy, ie. english to irish for instance, the fucking muslims are worse to fellow arab/muslims. Genuinely, it's surprising how much shit talking they do to each other. My girlfriend, I plan to read the quran at some point and see if I can confront her on the issues of the quran to her to see if she'll leave it behind. I can't force it, since faith is harsh to everyone. But damn, I feel as though she's too kind for a faith that requires such absolute obedience in every single thing. She told me she's not even allowed to play music as per islam. Which is something that messes with her a lot.

That's not how you learn languages, worthless little fizzbuzzers. We speak languages because we needed them. Not because a professor told us to speak it in order to write a "calculator" and then some "temperature converter"
