The retard who made xlibre doesn't even know C.
This is the guy you trust to maintain xorg? I'm sticking with Freedesktop's version.

Who says anything about a typo? He didn't know what the ^ operator does in C, assumed it means the same as in math and committed his "code" which probably broke all sorts of shit.
I'm betting the idiot is probably one of those vibe coders.

Guy could have said that by distraction, or by spending some time without programming in C. After spending a lot of time in shell scripts I wrote a C code full of # comments before noticing what I was doing

no, you would not use a bitshift, because their behavior isn't 100% ANSI defined.
Like it's not defined what happens if a left shift overflows and it's not defined, shift values that are >= the size of the type are undefined,...

You would rather just write the value directly.
But hey, lets waste our time discussing the most basic things and replying to idiots like you, who make fun of others not knowing basic things while you yourself obviously don't know what you are talking about.

Wayland is a protocol that is defined by a closed group and you need an invitation as representative of a DE to even join that. And after you joined, the best thing you can do is to +1 a proposal or NACK it.

Your hobby is politics, the lowest form of approval seeking for loud niggers with <90 IQ who want to seem intelligent. You lack the brainpower to take on actually complex fields of knowledge, because you are a female-brained cuck obsessed with muh people and muh social issues, just like the women and troons you hate so much. You could never be an engineer, a mathematician, nor a musician. And you are not a real philosopher nor a real sociologist.

You will never be a moral authority on anything. You have a savior complex, but you will never save anyone. "Doing your part" won't ever have a significant effect on anyone else's life.
Nobody will reward your attempts of "fixing the West".

Your pattern detection skills are not a display of intelligence. Literally all humans, even troons, are born with this skill. Pointing out things only makes your fellow echo chamber redditards seethe loudly in their muh politics hugbox, but the world will not change because of your keyboard activism.

You will never kill a single nigger or kike in your life. You don't have the balls to pull the trigger.
You claim that niggers deserve to be dominated by whites because they are dumber, but when kikes dominate you, you cope and seethe.

Exactly, good eye. Now tell me how the fuck is that an argument against reserving Virtual Memory more carefully?

Is your practical experience hoarding all of the virtual address space for a single process just so you don't have to use exponentiation once and then have to bend over and do it anyway to index it for random combinations?

Is your practical experience broadcasting data without any sort of public-private key encryption and storing passwords in plaintext?

Is your practical experience building an architectural structure without any simulations and saying "fuck that, we'll test in production"?

You are such a genius, I kneel.

Complex physical simulations cannot be completed millions of times in a span of minutes.

But ofcourse, you knew that. Only that you don't consider physics to be useful. Any "real" algorithm with exponentiation is useless to you because you've already decided that in your own mind.

You still haven't told me how you'll index the logs by the way. Don't skirt around the question.

Also, if something instantaneous should take minutes on your system for the most simple calculations and disrupt it at that, jist because you, out of your own blindness cannot see a usecase for exponentiation, despite not being able to answer how you'd do certain commonly used and critical calculations without it, doubling and tripling down instead of introspecting, that says a lot about your experience.

God forbid an "experienced" programmer such as you has to program for a real time system.

Well, i was, i studied physics at university.
And i can tell you that the majority of university run science is indeed a public funding scam.
Because otherwise you simply do not get any funding. You have to sell your project to a political person, who has no idea of the terms you use. And that person has to decide which of the proposed projects get funding.

And that is in Europe.
In the US they get more money by corporations who donate, because they want the son of their CEO to have an easy time when attending that university.
They have it a bit easier with funding - however, they run paper mills, because they compete with other universities for that corporate funding.
The CEO wont send his son to your university if it doesn't have "reputation". And you get "reputation" by the amount of papers. No matter if the papers you output are actually correct or reproducible.
And then you get the paid-for science. Like the IPCC has his whole existence linked to the production results that are biased in the same direction.

The thinking that "muh science" is a word of god is retarded.

On the backdrop of an ongoing and live streamed genocide in Palestine (and apparently WW3 now as well) an apartheid, ethnosupremacist, babykiller apologist clown with a youtube channel (I know that does not narrow it down a lot) decided to take some time off and go back to โ€œlinuxโ€ reporting. There are plenty more charismatic fascists on youtube that talk about politics in general so I assume its hard to make a living just from that and the talentless hack needed to pivot back to our corner to keep paying rent.

However people, that should know better, were very happy to indulge and uncritically โ€œreportโ€ on the latest made-up story that lionizes an actual Nazi and WW2 revisionist, transphobe, โ€œ911 trutherโ€ nut job, with main character syndrome, whose main claim to fame is being yelled at by Linus for spouting anti-vaxxer rhetoric in the Linux Kernel Mailing List. You have no excuse, there is no bothsidesing fascism, you canโ€™t say you didnโ€™t know, weโ€™ve been all screaming about it. You deserve each other and to spend your life surrounded by the filth you promote and legitimize. I hope you all will take a look in the mirror one day and try to atone for your sins and the damage you cause to the society.

Stuff like this should be caught before merge >>105709171 by whoever accepts it.
But RedHat run freedesktop.org doesn't have any such standards whatsoever. There is no code review, they just merge.

If you think that master has to be release-worthy at every commit, then you have to go to the RedHat headquater and shoot it up, because they are the Nr.1 example of bad merge practices.

lol enrico is just doing this shit in his free time, he is not a full time gayland contributor who gets paid to do anything, the people over at freedesktop are reverting his commits because they decided to ditch his plan, nothing more, what he is doing requires breaking shit, there is litterally no other way to untangle the 35 years of spaghetti , other than to change things and see what breaks, the xorg master is not a sacred cow, the fact is that there hasnt been an xorg release for 4 years, so people are using the master like its stable when they really shouldnt be, and the people responsible for doing releases have been lazy /unmotivated to do it. alan coopersmith took enricos commits because they initially were not against cleaning it up, breakage headaches included, but it turns out its a much bigger job than expected and enrico's minimal changes exposed just how difficult it is, and so the people responsible for the xserver decided that it was better to just not do anything and leave it as it was , because it is much easier and avoids upsetting people who are using the master (which apparently includes nvidia customers lol). his banning from the repo has nothing to do with his commits, he was ejected with an arbitrary CoCk violation, so much as ive seen there is nothing beyond the original spicy readme that would explain it.

and lastly Hes been a kernel maintainer for a long time, so even if his code is shit, he is able to do the job , rejecting bad patches and accepting good ones and responding to feedback, to which he seems perfectly capable of doing.

keep seething over LITTERALLY FREE SOFTWARE, maintained by a random german autist in his free time, touch some ass faggots.

Practice what you preach.
Post your code of how you'd index a large buffer of n elements with m states each.

I would do
uintmax_t index = 0;
for(int i=0; i<n; i++)
{
index *= m;
index += elements[i];
}

Which is equivalent to exponentiating and adding elements individually.

2 weeks ago I published a blogpost about the upcoming plans of GNOME 49 and the eventual removal of the X11 session. Since then, instead of looking at feedback, bugs and issues related to the topic, we all collectively had to deal with the following, and I am not exaggerating one bit:
>Fascists and Nazis
>Wild Conspiracy Theories that make Qanon jealous
>โ€œConcernedโ€ Trolling about the Accessibility of the Wayland session
>A culture war where Wayland is Gay, and X11 is the glorious past they stole from you

>and I am not exaggerating one bit:

Think it's Jorden himself? I wonder what his colleagues would think about how much he hates spics to the point he's calling a white German dude one.

Good catch anons, Enrico isn't a name of a spic, it's a name of inbred spic/shitalian/germoid subhuman. Which is worse than simply sticking to the spic narrative, however wrong it may be.
Thank you for correcting me!

Who gives a fuck about x11 anyway
use the superior alternative and ignore the retard working on an irrelevant software. the readme alone should be a good enough hint.

All the hate is being directed by communists. I haven't seen a single good technical argument against this fork.

Some vaccines are made out of tobacco plants. You are the tobacco industries new cashcow if you fall for this new vaccination hysteria.

The tobacco industry was once upon a time one of americas largest industries. And you think america plays fair?
They do not, they just take your kids and inject them the tobacco vaccines in order to still sell off their stuff nobody wants anymore this decade.

And suddenly... vaping children appear left and right.

Now THAT is a conspiracy theory.
