I didn't mean to suggest that Lower Decks was literally canceled because of Academy.
But Paramount canceled Lower Decks while apparently still wanting Trek, so some dumbass definitely went "THIS is what we should be doing instead of that cartoon!"
And if I ever meet that man, so help me, I will voice my disapproval to him!
