I've always wanted to catalogue and preserve media, and with the state of the world rn, I think it's important to act on my flight of fancy.
I've only ever pirated my old anime before, so I'm not entirely sure where to buy it legally: I want to buy the most comprehensive and free of censorship physical copies I can, but have no clue where to start.
I also plan on buying a BluRay drive for my computer so I can rip stuff off discs and make torrents out of them, and then throw them to the Internet as much as I can for the sake of posterity, complete with all the special features.
I see that crunchyroll sells stuff, but I've heard so much awful shit about them that I don't trust their corpo fingers from violating the artistic integrity of anything they release or rerelease.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm perfectly willing to hunt through eBay as well. This sounds like a fun hobby teebeehech.
