Think I'll rewrite that snippet later. Now that I'm rereading it, it feels like the zoroark could've been swapped for any regular human and the scene wouldn't change. When other Pokemon appear I want to lean into what makes them special.

And yes, the original plan was having them buddy-cop for a bit. Glad we're on the same wavelength there.
