From what I've been reading is that the game seems like a waste of time because you may not get the hints or may not get the solutions to tackle puzzles. My question is, why bother booting the game up if it's an unknown if the game will allow you to progress. Sure, I have other games in which I can't progress in them, but at least they dangle the carrot with the hope if I become more proficient at the game I can get further into it. It isn't gated by a random chance. This play through can be the one I make a break through. Where as it seems from what I read from Blue Prince that booting up the game I may not even progress because that permutation deprived me of something to do so. That doesn't seem appealing.
