Don't start with Sengoku. Either start with the original PC98 game from like 1987 (very old and outdated, frankly) or the remake Rance 01 and just go from there
If you ask me, the best choice is to play all the old games (from before the reboot), and then all the remakes and canon sequels, but not everyone is as into the games as that
