>By that logic, nothing past Endsinger should be worth consideration.
Yes. This is the exact problem most longrunning high fantasy/shonen/xianxia/superhero stories run into. At a certain powerlevel, it becomes a struggle for viewers to take your narrative seriously because the setting isn't capable of dealing with the powertier that the writers have given to it.
You can only escalate so far before the disbelief can no longer be suspended, which is why usually these genres preseed ways to power DOWN the protagonist for a following arc.
>xianxia realm ascension
>high fantasy/shonen has alternatives to the mainstream power system/'i'll only use my sword'/conceptual bullshit
>i dont read comics but most superheroes have some level of regeneration/invulnerability so you can just have them get beat the fuck up when you wanna lower the scale a bit
XIV needs to reset its powerscale for more people to take them seriously, it's gone completely off the rails since Shadowbringers. Killing Ascians is fine, we've done it before, but we've leapfrogged to galactic heroes. Most players aren't going to be taking threats lower than planetary seriously anymore, because that's the new baseline.
