I am thinking about my bias.
I am also thinking about immutable characteristics of a normal Human such as preferences.
Resolving bias is in treating other people decently, but that includes decently turning down their advances and having the decency to draw a line in the sand and politely point it out to another person.
The decency must also project from yourself, that other side, in respecting people's preferences and not attempting to dishonestly and manipulatively coerce them into acting outside of their comfort zone with regards to choices, by attempting to subtly shame and peer pressure them, because this leads to rape culture. No means no, nobody is entitled to romantic feelings.
It's a pretty fucking simple formula in emotional intelligence.
That's also why the writing in this game is subpar, because the developer lacks emotional intelligence to avoid cognitive dissonance and wears dishonest masks.
