lmao, show me an rx-8 beating an FD lap record. Even when swapped to a 13b-rew engine with turbos and all it still loses.
The chassis rigidity is a marketing meme you fell for. It doesn't matter.
>"oh, my car is less rigid? time to throw on $200 in braces and now it's fine"
The RX-8 was an amazing car for what it was (sedan with coupe handling), with a flawed engine that's going to die every 100,000 miles on you, but it's still slower than an FD.
>t. I've owned multiple RX-8s and FDs and driven them hard and raced on the same roads.
