Does anyone else think Sega should just axe the Modern Sonic branch? The Modern Sonic games have never been good. Some might say Colors and Generations were okay but honestly they're just Classic Sonic gameplay but dumbed down, have Wisps, and are 2.5D. The Modern Sonic games along with their awful, ravenous fanbase have given the franchise an amazingly terrible reputation. I think it's about time for Sega to give up on Modern Sonic and focus on making actual Good Sonic games from here on out and the only way for that to happen is to make Mania sequels as it's a formula that works (the best received Sonic game in 15 years). Nobody cares about modernshit outside of storyfags and characterautists anyways. Despite the fact the worst games, stories and characters are all modernshit. So what do you think?

Modernshit is genuinly bottom-of-the-barrel, incoherent drivel with not an ounce of intelligence, sophistication, substance or creative value. They chuck in a bunch of edgy, contrived scenarios, cliches and obnoxious, juvenile metaphors together and then repeats them ad-nauseam to keep knuckle-dragging goons entertained like junkies looking for their next shot cheap of poorly built plot twist and shock value. I'm sure Sega is laughing all the way to the bank milking this creatively bankrupt cow that is Modern Sonic. You'd have to possess the emotional immaturity of a sheltered teenage girl to be invested in its circus-tier, cringe-lord games, even worse to take its low-level, unsubtle, parodical writing with any seriousness at all.
