No student will ever actually be evil. If they act out or act badly it's your fault for not rasing them right, sensei is the one who takes responsibility for them. Kaya as well is one of his students who is only a little misguided, not evil at all.

Sensei forgives literal genocide and somehow you think he can't forgive a little mischief from a student who made a few mistakes while trying to be in charge. Kaya's actions were pretty minor in the end. They're just children, no matter what they blow up or mess up, it's sensei's role to guide them properly. Sensei can only give his mercy to students, not adults, but he will forgive all students. They're too young and stupid to know any better, they can't be evil at that age.
