dude you talk like a fucking journalist and clearly know less than one about how to make video games

if racing game ai was easy it would have been done,
clearly it's a lot harder than
>"hurr just throw more cycles and ram at it a hurrp durpp durr" t. executive project lead
you can't just throw more resources at it because you also have to simulate the car, and usually more than one ai, and render.
like the problem primarily is that games are not real life, the ai's calculations have to occur within a limited time per frame and in order with other operations, meaning the faster you go the less time there actually is to perform calculations and exponentially more mistakes they make. even if the ai logic is decoupled from frame time or you have a very fast computer and super high fps they're still "seeing" in frames, they're not people and they can never race like people because they don't see or drive like a human does at all. it's just foolish to expect it. even Sophy doesn't drive like a human. people drive unpredictably and improve their lines over time, and the only game i've very seen do that is RF1.

txr's gameplay style is intentionally old-school, it doesn't need Sophy or whatever, it would just be a waste of time because bad players like you would just cry about how hard it is and good players would dump her stupid ass into a wall and win anyway

Its Sunday and that means its time to race around a loop until you fucking explode in BallisticNG

>where do I get the game
you can get it from steam or gog if you feel like paying for it but if you feel like sailing the high seas just take this
https://peenusweenus.com/files/ballisticng_1.4.0.1b_(64bit)_(81950).7z

>how do I connect
you launch the game and then go to online multiplayer, join ip, then type 131.153.242.158 for the ip

>wtf, my custom maps/models?
I was tinkering around with packs that /vm/ had, but there's some issues with shaders fucking up on my end so if this game does fine, ill vet the packs to see what shit works and what doesnt for the next time we do this.
