Even now the part of the stampede where mufasa tries rescuing Simba paired with the score still gives me goosebumps. That whole portion of the movie was masterfully done, culminating with that look of pure horror mufasa's face when he realizes scar is going to kill him.
Still my all time favorite movie after all these years
