Their horse archers are fucking tanks. What they lack in killing power they make up for in being able to shrug off damage.

One of the biggest mistakes in Legionary's design is not giving them throwing spears as a fourth weapon, giving them 10-20 more armor, and slowing them down appropriately from weight. Legionarys should've been beefy boys like their horse archers are the slow beefy boys of their type.
