Russian here. Zoomers don't drink much, both consumption and production of alcohol in Russia declines every year. But zoomers' fathers are incorrigible, their generation were the heaviest drinkers, drinking is the best leisure activity to most of them. They were this way in the late USSR, because no one bothered to entertain youth that time, and in the 90s everything was collapsing and they tried to drink their depression away. They also make up the most of SMO volunteers.

Zoomers tend to vape, there are many who do drugs, but they don't like to drink themselves to oblivion. Still in every big town there are alcohol shops not farther than 200m from any living block. The street next to mine has like 8 shops on 1km. Big companies compete and open their shops right next to each other, sell food next to vodka to make some profit. They also scam their employees into taking some of their wage in alcohol crates because they supposedly sold less alcohol than it was planned.

You would really need to search our streets to find some passed out drunk. I didn't see one myself for a long time. And if you tried to seduce Russian zoomer girl with vodka, she would think that you're a weirdo
