Sora has been able to do 1 minute videos for a year and a half, did you forget about that?
And I've seen lots of them, even locally made. There was this paper earlier this year of multi-scene 1 minute clips which is even more interesting than just a full minute long video.

The other day and a few other times this year there has been progress in those interactive video "game" AIs too, I think Google's is called Genie. Microsoft showcased one earlier this year too. Hunyuan has one as well.

True but it's more impressive. The average cut length in a movie is just a few seconds, same as that.
I'm not sure if Runway lets you generate long continuous clips because it's a waste of energy frankly speaking, but the models are capable of it.
