Thats just what Atlus were doing at that point in time. Devil survivor 2 Record Breaker is the same. Take a look at that games translation compared to the original DS release. They retranslated it and legit added a le epic joke, quip or meme that wasn't originally there on average every 4 dialogue boxes, its insufferable.
