Aaaand that's a wrap. I got the White ending a couple days ago, and I just finished neutral now. It was really good, I'm glad I finally stuck with it.
You become very powerful in this one, at least as a mage. The only really difficult parts for me were the Hunter Tournaments and the Beelzebub fight. Another thing I noticed is that fusion becomes pretty much irrelevant around level 70. I started buying all of the fusion booster apps late, and there was almost nothing to use it on. It seems like a lot of the late-game fusions are special, require fiends, or both. As a result, I ended up using Sphinx, Cherub, Tzitzimitl, and Quetzalcoatl for a long time.
>worst part?
Probably getting neutral, like >>535813917 said. I do think it's funny that you can be too neutral to get the neutral ending, but the balancing of alignment points and slog of challenge quests makes it a bit painful.
>anything that could've been better?
Johnathan and Walter's reactions to Blasted and Infernal Tokyo. Obviously they can't become neutral reps, but it would have been nice for them to look a bit closer at the shortcomings of their respective ideologies.
>most convincing argument for an alignment in smt 4?
Chaos really had the lead for a while just by virtue of how shit Law looks, but it fell apart all the same.
>favorite design?
Does Masakado at the very end count?
>favorite music track?
Dunno about favorite, but I really like the guitar in Battle C3.
