I have two free slots NVMe slots in my laptop for SSDs.
Is there any advantage to installing 2 matching brand/model/capacity drives?

I bought a p53 off of eBay. I am going to replace the 500 Gb stick with Win10 on it with a new 1 TB for my Linux install. Pic related
Is the process as simple as opening up the back, pulling out the old and putting in the new? Or do I need to make some kind of BIOS update/change first? Thanks.
