Just heard this came out. QRD on how /v/ is liking it, or not? Did it fix some of the problems with HK? Specifically, ones that were relevant to me:
>all the boring and needlessly long filler segments of maps, especially the memorization tier platforming sections
>lack of variety related to the items, weapons, and abilities sandbox, where the game isn't really rewarding you with many stylistically or even mechanically interesting upgrades, not like how you get suit and beam upgrades in Metroid that have both aesthetic and gameplay impacts, and then there's the Metroidvanias that have shit tons of weapons and abilities that do a lot of different things which are both stylistically and mechanically interesting and unique
>lack of a memorable leitmotif in the music, the existing leitmotif just feels generic, can't hum it at all from memory unlike tracks from Metroid or Castlevania
Not hating on HK btw, I still enjoyed it.
