Even if the leaving Steven and Peridot to die thing didn't happen, she still almost drowned him right after he saved her from a thousand year prison AND she fused with Jasper despite Steven begging her not to just because she felt like abusing someone. lapis is the worst character you can pair Steven with unless you hate Steven I guess
