i think the effect remains but is hard to tell the crest does increase by 1, but its shyning so i guess the choose +1 is still active.
i guess it keeps count so if you somehow play another 10 choose effects now you have choose +2.

even with the effect being permanent 10 cards is too much, it needs some really good support to be playable, honestly.
