Yes and the worship it is dumb, although actually playing sports was fun albeit way more tedious than meets the eye with having to watch film, practice morning and late afternoon, travel every other weekend, if you're good then it really takes over your life, a good amount of those guys are fucked up long term due to concussions and brain damage etc, but it gets you fit as fuck. It's good only for yourself if you play but honestly there's better shit to do with your time if not.
