In such a scenario, I believe we will witness bulls and bears rope as the whole cryptocurrency space begins to experience "Monero-fication". Monero, being the ultimate crab coin, does not have halving cycles. Instead, its emission is a smooth curve throughout. Furthermore, Monero gets its underlying value not from speculation, but from its usage as a private wealth store and an anonymous transaction medium. In such a cryptocurrency market, gone will be cycles, replaced with a smooth sailing chart.

This will in turn usher in a new age of cryptocurrency. A one that will come to be recognized for its rock solid price stability. More people will start using it. This may raise its price somewhat, but since it's from usage and not specultion, only slowly and smoothly. In turn, even more people may wish to depend on cryptocurrency, creating a cycle. Eventually, cryptocurrency will end up representing so much wealth, entire world's in fact, that volatility will be virtually impossible. Each coin will correspond directly to productivity, the increase of which will directly correlate with the capability of mankind as it spreads across space and time.
