>you see him in the glass door's reflection in case you didn't get that.
But there's no glass door reflection when someone is hanging Mari.
>They're literally held in a photo album that in both Faraway and Headspace was titled Basil's Memories.
In Faraway's album some of the pictures have Basil in it. So by your logic, in the truth album the pov changes as well. So who hanged Mari? We just don't know.
>The night you confront Basil, he says "I'll save you again."
Addressed this already but w/e. That lines comes after this:
>I'll protect you no matter what, SUNNY. You can count on me!
>When something killed MARI... When something ruined all my photos...
>I didn't say anything... I didn't want people to think it was you, SUNNY.
So yeah it's vague. It doesn't prove anything. It sounds like Basil keeping Sunny's secrets=saving Sunny.
>Stranger in Black Space says "Back then... I wanted to save what was left."
So? What's that supposed to mean?
>And the Basil on Memory Lane says he seems to burden Sunny, even back then.
He's actually talking about his album. He's apologizing to Sunny for giving him his photos and reminding him of the good times, or something. Also for making Sunny mess up the photos I guess. It's Basil's fault, because he gave Sunny the photos. Obviously.
I said this like twice already, but Basil gives off vibes of a battered wife who apologizes for hurting her husband's fist with her face. His apologies mean nothing.
Also the Memory Lane Basil and Stranger are not even real. Sunny imagined them, just like he imagined spirit Mari apologizing to him. He's a narcissistic pos, or the writer is.
