Yes, all you really need is
>groundwork + greens
>angling and scheming

The problem is S. Maru WILL pass you with her unique. It's really hard for other fronts to hold the lead against her. I would say Escape Artist is your best bet as a front to combat it and try and fight for lead. Dominators are everywhere though, and they are killing marus and they'll kill your front too. Have an insurance plan ready...
