i’ve used amd in my last build 4 years ago, but recently started getting green screens and crashes. loads windows half the time, but locks going into safe mode. so building a new one.
was looking forward to going back to intel and some thread popped up about how it’s slow and needs a nuclear rod per core to power it and that everyone uses amd now. even googled it, pic related.

so going amd again. is the thread description still a good route for the gamer tier? i dont need fancy lights. a lot of the shit on pcpartpicker looks old. it used to recommend the latest popular stuff.
