People are just saying that the costume is not that good and they won't buy it. "Mad" is a strong word desu. And the bikini bottom is just a suggestion, what could make it better, that's it.
Also, the bikini sets are still purchasable, it shouldn't be a problem to release one now, I get why it would be a problem during halloween or new year, but it's not out of place right now.
