The game should be mostly done. They wan't to polish shit like performance, animations, cutscenes, maybe tweak some missions to be more interesting stuff like that. Not overhaul the entire thing. What AI features could possibly warrant scrapping previous work when most of it is aimed at speeding up game content creation, which is pretty much finished at this point.
