Played my first game of Alpha Strike tonight with a buddy, also his first time. Fun as hell, pretty easy to learn and super fast.

I got an early lead by taking out his Commando and tried to trade my Locust for getting his Catapult in an open position but his Battlemaster and his Wolverine charged my Thunderbolt and Shadow Hawk respectively, and we didn't know how melee and movement worked so we just slugged it out there while my Grasshopper chased his Catapult. I lost those melees though so it was Grasshopper vs the rest of his lance by the time I lost, but those three mechs had seven structure between them.

My neighbours had a smoke alarm with a low battery and instead of replacing the battery they put the smoke alarm in the garden. Now constantly there is a beeping sound coming from the darkness. What even are my neighbours?
