Imperial agents expansion is coming
I can feel it
>Random seething about necronfags, eldarfags and marinefags
Marines are fucking cool, they just become less so by overexposure and constantly winning. It's why the Crimson Fists are the best chapter since they don't suffer from either of these.
Marines don't really leave a lot of creative space for /yourdudes/ as marinefags would like to tell you because ultimately they are still following the codex astartes and are highly brainwashed mega soldiers. There are only so many variations of "and they come from X and specialize in Y and dress in Z" one can come up with. In general you can be way more creative with guard regiments, necron dynasties, ork clans and so on without moving into being overwritten mary sue cringe.
It's just that marines are just bloody everywhere 40k has so much more to offer that they become stale to anyone but the most mindless of marine sloppa consoomers. No one hates the facts marines exist they just hate how much of the spotlight they take and if you're just ok with that there's a very high chance you're actually straight the fuck up retarded

Yeah but that doesn't make it not sci fi. It has spaceships planets aliens robots advanced tech and so on and so forth. In general 40k's characteristics are way more aligned with science fiction than fantasy
Sci fi exists on a spectrum of a lil pseudointellectual star trek shit where the characters sit in a spaceship and argue with each other over space morality for hours and fuck all "hell yeah this looks cool as fuck" 40k space wars with guys clad in leather with chainswords. Neither are mutually exclusive warhammer can have some actual nuance to itself and while ive never seen star trek ive heard it gets pretty fucking stupid that's the general idea of things. Star Wars is in the middle leaning more into 40k and so is Dune
